About The Vaccine War

The Vaccine War touted as a real story, shows the behind-the-scenes that went into making India’s own vaccine to fight against COVID-19. The film shows the struggles of the Indian scientists and their efforts to make India’s own vaccine. Helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Vaccine War stars Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, and others in key roles.

Film producer Pallavi Joshi talked about The Vaccine War in a recent conversation with ANI and said, “A lot of people are confused...But this film is not based on Covid. We are only talking about how the vaccine was made and the problems faced during that time. This is not a dark film in any sense...It is a very positive film that celebrates our success. The audience will be filled with pride when they leave the theatres after watching it...We have proved that India can do it..."

Talking about the film, Vivek Agnihotri said, “I have focused mostly on India's victory, how India is becoming a great nation, how India has become self-reliant, and how India's science is ready to show direction to the world. More than that, I also wanted people to understand who your enemies are. If you want to know who the enemies of India are, who is trying to sell India, then now you will get the answer in The Vaccine War.”
