'Thalaivi' first look: Kangana Ranaut makes a powerful statement as Jayalalithaa in biopic

Kangana Ranaut is all set to appear in the movie based on 'Thalaivi' Jayalalithaa. The first look and teaser of this film has been unveiled and to put it subtly, she has managed to make a statement with every move, good or bad you decide.

In the teaser, Kangana is introduced as a dancer (heroine) who loves entertaining people. She is seen in tight-fitting and more or less, a transparent attire. She is sanskari from the head, but naughty with all other places, probably because that is what the audiences liked to see in Thalaivi Jayalalithaa?

The next frame shows this slim and trim actress' transformation, into a politician, who has not only gained weight, but covers herself with a saree. Oops, sorry, covering herself with a saree was the original Thalaivi Jayalalithaa. Kangana Ranaut covers herself with a saree and a blouse, because she loves adding something extra in the movie.

Prior to the teaser, the first look poster which was unveiled, has not managed to impress people either and it is not tough to guess why. The prosthetics and make-up given to Kangana in the poster are simply disappointing. The actress is shown with a double chin. However the problem lies that her chin extends from the cheek, which is definitely not normal, and especially rude when it comes to a personality like Jayalalithaa's.

Here's hoping the makers have something more interesting to offer, considering Kangana could have looked like a replica of Jayalalithaa if only there were not so many faults in the first look itself.
