'Marjaavaan' starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh is slated to release on October 2 next year
Looks like the coming year will be a busy one for the eye-candy of Bollywood, actor Sidharth Malhotra.
The actor, who only on Thursday announced the release date of his upcoming film Jabariya Jodi opposite Parineeti Chopra, took to his Instagram on Friday and shared that the shooting of yet another film of his- Marjaavaan, has begun.
A few months back, the Hasee Toh Phasee actor took to Twitter to announce that we will be seen in Marjaavaan that reunites him with his Ek Villain co-star Riteish Deshmukh and Aiyaary co-star Rakul Preet Singh.
The film will also star Student Of The Year 2 actress Tara Sutaria.
While announcing that Marjaavan goes on floors on Friday, the actor shared a picture of himself showing a punch to the camera with various religious symbols inked on his fingers.
He captioned the picture as, “Ishq aur inteqaam ka koi mazhab nahi, koi ek Rab nahi! #Marjaavaan Shoot begins today!”
The first poster of the film had made it clear that it won't be a mushy love story but a bloody one, and this post of Sidharth Malhotra reinstates that.
Sidharth had shared the first poster of the film on his Instagram and captioned it as, "A love worth dying for “ Presenting #Marjaavaan .A thrilling game of love and death with @Riteishd again! Very excited to begin working with this amazingly talented team @zmilap @itsBhushanKumar @nikkhiladvani @tarasutaria__ @TSeries @EmmayEntertain See u on 2nd OCTOBER 2019,” tweeted the actor."
Marjaavan is being directed by Milap Zaveri, who had a great 2018 with Satyameva Jayate starring John Abraham, doing good business at the box office despite contesting with Akshay Kumar's Gold.
While talking about the film, Milap had earlier said, "I am continuously grateful for all the support my film Satyameva Jayate received. So excited and grateful to team up again with T-Series and Emmay. This is a family production for me to have all those associated with it, as part of it."
Marjaavaan is slated to release on October 2, 2019.
