After facing the wrath of netizens, Richa Chadha apologises for her remark on the 2020 Galwan crash.
Richa Chadha is the latest target of netizens, and they are trolling her brutally over her 'insensitive remark' on the 2020 Galwan crash, in which several Indian Army soldiers died. As per ANI, on Wednesday, Richa had reacted to Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi`s statement that the Indian Army is ready to execute orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Soon after her tweet, social media users got miffed over the actress, and they started trolling her mercilessly. The actress' upcoming film Fukrey 3 also started getting trolled, and netizens call for a boycott of the upcoming crime-comedy film. Now, Richa broke the silence over the matter, and she apologised for it. Chadha stated that her comment was unintentional to hurt anyone's feelings and that she holds the utmost respect for the Armed Forces.

In a prolonged note, shared on Twitter, Richa wrote, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and I also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part. As a Lt. Col, he took a bullet, in the leg, in the Indo-China war, in 1960s. My Mamji is a paratrooper, it's in my blood." Her note further stated, "A whole family is affected when their son is martyred or even injured while serving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally knows how it feels." Richa concluded the post saying, "It's an emotive issue for me."
