While acknowledging the fact that he is 'privileged' and could afford to stay at home, Ranbir answered that the question wasn't a fair one.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has been making headlines after his revelation that had the coronavirus pandemic not hit the world and affected citizens around the globe forcing people to stay at home and countries to enforce a lockdown, he would have married girlfriend and actor Alia Bhatt is in the news yet again.
In the same interview that Ranbir spoke of his marriage with Alia, the 'Rockstar' actor also gave a very humble and thoughtful response to a question asked by journalist Ranjeev Masand.
While speaking on general topics like his upcoming projects, work-life and the pandemic, when asked by the journalist what he missed most during the lockdown, Ranbir's reply left netizens in awe of the actor, who praised him for his honest and thoughtful response.
While acknowledging the fact that he is 'privileged' and could afford to stay at home, Ranbir answered that the question wasn't a fair one since it has been a terrible time for most people across the globe.
Ranbir said, "To be honest, I'm quite a home-body and I'm quite in the privileged category so, I could sit at home and just be. I didn't have anything to worry about. So, I think it's a really very unfair question for me to answer this because it's been a terrible time for people. It's probably been the worst that the world has seen in a long time. I could go on and talk about I was doing this or that but I think it won't sound right."
Ranbir's response had the Internet laud the actor for being humble and acknowledging that there are larger issues that are plaguing the world and that some people have had one of the worst times in the history of humanity in the year that has nearly come to an end.
It must be noted that earlier this year, Ranbir lost his father, actor Rishi Kapoor. However, his recent response has been winning the Internet.
"The best part of today's interview was that he accepts as always that he is privileged and his problems are nothing in front of what other people faced during this year. Soooo down to earth he is and that's why I love him so much," wrote a Twitter user.
