On his 54th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan to announce not 1 but 2 films; read on

As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan will be announcing his two new films on the occasion of his 54th birthday which is on November 2.

The release of Shah Rukh Khan's last outing Zero was almost a year back. After the film's debacle, SRK hasn't signed any new movies and also revealed that his heart doesn't let him do so. However, even if he posts a photo or tweets something, the superstar is constantly asked about his new movie project. Even during TED Talks India season 2 launch, when Shah Rukh was asked about it, he said the show is his new film.

Now as per reports in Mumbai Mirror, on the occasion of his 54th birthday which falls on November 2, SRK will be announcing not one but two new films. The first one will be with Rajkumar Hirani and the reports on the same have been making the rounds from a very long time. While the second project, Shah Rukh likely to star is S. Shankar's forthcoming directorial after his Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan. 

Moreover, the tabloid also reported that King Khan is in discussion with Gurinder Chadha's film which is set to be an international project. If Shah Rukh says yes to this film, it will be his first international outing in terms of movies.

During his recent Ask SRK session on Twitter, when he was asked about his new movie, the superstar replied, "Working on stuff. Will take some time once I get the material right."

While he revealed at TED Talks India launch, "Jokes apart, I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it’s good because some of them have given me ideas."
