Neil Nitin Mukesh and wife Rukmini Sahay blessed with a baby girl

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh's wife Rukmini Sahay gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, on Thursday afternoon. She delivered the newborn at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai around 3:30 pm, a source close to the family told IANS.

Earlier in April, Neil had announced via Instagram that they were going to become parents soon, that they were 'very excited' for the next phase in their life. "Now, we will be THREE," he had captioned the post. 

“We are okay with a baby girl or a baby boy as long as the baby is healthy,” Neil had earlier said in a statement. Neil got married to Rukmini in February, last year. It was an arranged marriage and they had a courtship of one month. 

The actor, who is the grandson of legendary singer Mukesh and son of veteran singer Nitin, has been a part of films like 'Johnny Gaddaar', 'New York' 'Golmaal Again', '7 Khoon Maaf' among others. 

On the work front, Neil is all set kickstart the shooting of his younger brother Naman's untitled thriller. Adah Sharma will be seen as the female lead in the film. Apart from that he will also be seen in Prabhas' 'Saaho'.
