Namaste England: When Arjun Kapoor got a day off to watch a Chelsea match in London

Arjun Kapoor, who is currently shooting for Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namaste England in London, was touched with the thoughtfulness of his producer-director. “During the making of the film, Vipul got to know that Arjun is passionate about football. Knowing that Arjun is a diehard Chelsea fan and learning that there was an FA Cup final match on Saturday, the filmmaker changed his lead actor’s shooting schedule so that the latter could go and watch the match. So, Arjun got a day off on Saturday,” says a production source.

Naturally, the actor was happy that he didn’t have to miss the match. The source adds, “Arjun is a thorough professional and didn’t ask for any concession to be made for him. However, Vipul knew that he is a huge football fan. Naturally, Arjun was surprised and bowled over by his producer-director’s gesture.”
