The pre-release event of Jawan was held in Chennai on August 30 and can be watched on Sun TV at 12 pm on Sunday.
Before launching its action-packed trailer three days ago, the Jawan team held a pre-release event at Sri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai on Wednesday, August 30. The film has majority of its cast and crew from Kollywood, i.e. Tamil cinema and hence, choosing Chennai as the only location for its promotional event wasn't a big surprise.
The star-studded event was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Atlee and his wife Priya Mohan, Vijay Sehupathi who plays the main antagonist, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and other cast members including Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Yogi Babu, and others. The film's leading lady Nayanthara was absent from the event.
Now, the audiences at their home would be able to watch the Jawn pre-release event on Sun TV at 12 pm, on Sunday, September 3. The production house Red Chillies Entertainment shared the teaser of the event on its social media handles and wrote, "Catch the star-studded Jawan pre-release event this Sunday at 12 PM on @SunTV! #JawanInChennai #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."
Several videos from the event had already gone viral including one in which SRK and Anirudh were seen dancing to the Zinda Banda song and another in which the Pathaan actor thanked the entire cast and crew for being a part of the much-awaited actione-packed entertainer.
Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film, which will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages on Sptember 7 on the occasion of Janmashtami, is expected to take a monstrous opening at the box office.
