Marvel Entertainment is expanding their fan base across the globe after the massive success of Avengers: Infinity War. The move includes accompanying Marvel Studio movies with animated shows, digital shorts, making the comic books more accessible to the wannabe Marvel fans and much more. India also has one of the fastest growing Marvel fanbases and we are to believe Stephen Wacker -- Vice President of Creative Development at Marvel -- the plan to add to the number to this fandom may include involving Shah Rukh Khan.

SRK has already made his "cameo" in Deadpool 2 when a song from his movie was played during a conversation between Deadpool and Dopinder. On the home soil, Baadshah Khan played a desi superhero in Ra.One which did not please the crowd. But Wacker thinks they would like to include SRK if Marvel creates Indian content.

"If we make Indian content, we have to put Shah Rukh Khan. He has to be in it," Wacker told Indian Express.

"We want to find a way to create characters that have a home in this world so we can bring Indian culture to the core North American Marvel fan. Let them understand a different part of the world too. I think that's going to be an exciting thing for Marvel. My hope is that the fan in India feels just as much part of the Marvel universe as some kid in New York," Wacker continued.

With SRK's name being tossed in and looking at the average age of Marvel superheroes in Hollywood, which character can he become? We'll bet money on a version of Old Man Logan, Magneto, or Professor Charles Xavier. But a completely Indian superhero, that has Marvel story writing, shall be a welcome change when it comes to Indian superhero portrayals.
