'He's not afraid to cry, that's what got me', Deepika Padukone on what attracted her towards Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer whenever they talk about each other blush in love and can't stop gushing. The couple had a courtship of about six years before taking the plunge last year in the month of November. During their several public appearances, the couple makes sure to sure love on each other and their chemistry is truly unmissable. It's a visual delight to see them together and moreover, they also shower love on each other during media interactions.

Recently, while talking to Vogue India, Deepika was asked what attracted her towards Ranveer. To which she stated, "There is no pretence with him, no holding back. People hate him or love him for that, but that’s who he is. He’s genuine, very good at articulating his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry. That’s what got me."

Earlier, while talking to TOI, Deepika had also said, "I don’t know what happens when he leaves the house as he’s an extremely different person then, which I think also people will start seeing. Like if you see it in his work, which is that there’s an extremely quiet side to him, there’s an extremely intelligent side to him, there’s a very sensitive and emotional side to him, there’s a vulnerable childlike innocence, so there are so many facets to him."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to share screen space for the fifth time in Kabir Khan's '83. In the film, they play reel Kapil Dev and his wife Romi Dev.
