Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Abhishek Kapoor celebrate 13 years of ‘Rock On’, director shares nostalgic photos

On Sunday, the film 'Rock On!!,' which is known for its music, celebrated its 13th anniversary on the big screen. Farhan Akhtar, known for his roles in movies such as Toofaan, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, made his acting and singing debut with Rock On!!

Farhan sang some of the film's most popular songs, including 'Tum Ho Toh', 'Pichle Saat Dinon Mein', and 'Rock On!!'. Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, Luke Kenny, and Shahana Goswami star in the film.

On the 13th anniversary of the film, Farhan and Luke, as well as director Abhishek Kapoor, turned to Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

On his Instagram Story, Farhan showed a graphic representation of the cast members, as well as many musical instruments. The name of their rock band, Magik, is written on a drum. "Celebrating 13 years of Rock On!!" read the inscription on the picture.

Abhishek also turned to Instagram to post a series of photographs from the film's key scenes.

He captioned the pictures with a popular dialogue from the film, "Hum honge lights hongi, ek huge audience hogi.. aur hogi music, jiske har beat mein, har note mein zindagi hogi."

Actor Luke Kenny also posted a touching message on Instagram, thanking everyone for their support and love for the film. Sharing a picture from the film, he wrote the caption, "13 years of #RockOn!! The rock n roll continues. Thank you for all the Magikal love and affection.”

Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment produced the film, which included music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

For the unversed, the film's sequel, 'Rock On 2', was released in 2016.
