Ananya Panday recalls Shah Rukh Khan's reaction after watching her in her debut film.
Ananya Panday is currently awaiting the release of her film Dream Girl 2. The actress has a special connection with SRK and is also the best friend of his daughter Suhana Khan. She made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 and recalled Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction to her debut.
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction to her debut, Ananya Panday told News18, “The first time he saw me on the big screen, he sent me a really long message, which I’ve almost framed and kept at home. Even though I’ve known him practically all my life, I’m still star-struck every time he walks into the room and that’s not just because of the actor that he is but also the human being that he is.”
Ananya Panday also revealed what she admires about Shah Rukh Khan and said, “He’s witty, humble, funny and caring and can make anyone feel so, so special. I’ve observed the human being in him a lot while growing up.”
Ananya Panday’s association with Shah Rukh Khan goes long back. In 2005, the actor revealed on a television show that Chunky Panday helped him during his struggling days and even gave him shelter when he arrived in Mumbai.
Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Rajpal Yadav and Manjot Singh among others. The romantic comedy is scheduled to release in theatres on August 25.
Meanwhile, after the blockbuster success of his comeback film, Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to enthrall the audience once again with his upcoming movie Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, the movie also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover and Riddhi Dogra among others in key roles. The action-thriller is slated to release on September 7.
