According to reports Arjun Kapoor will be seen as antagonist Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Deepika Padukone's Singham Again.
Rohit Shetty is all set to enthrall the audience with his upcoming movie Singham Again which stars Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone. Now if the reports are to be believed, Arjun Kapoor has also joined the cast and will play antagonist in the movie.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development told the entertainment portal, “Yes, Arjun Kapoor is joining Rohit Shetty cop universe and this is the biggest surprise which Rohit and his team have kept under wraps. However, the twist in the tale is the fact that Arjun is playing the part of a villain and not the hero. Arjun will be the villain against the 4 supercops - Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi and Lady Singham."
He added that Arjun has already started the prep work and said, “Rohit is very particular about his casting and is going all out to make this the biggest film of Indian Cinema. He brought the biggest stars of Indian Cinema on board and is all ready to blast the box office with this action-packed thriller.”
Singham Again fifth film from Rohit Shetty’s cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The film stars Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone. Deepika is reported to play the first lady Singham in the movie and will be seen as Ajay’s sister. The movie is scheduled to release on August 15, 2024, and will clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Earlier, talking about Deepika Padukone's role in Singham Again, a source told the same portal, “Deepika Padukone is all excited for Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. She will be playing the first female cop of the Rohit Shetty Universe and has already started prep work for this action-packed part. Deepika's character is more along the lines of a Lady Singham and has the arc of being Ajay Devgn's sister in the film.”
