Ajay Devgn to go bald for Neeraj Pandey's 'Chanakya'?

As per reports, Ajay Devgn will be going bald for his forthcoming film, 'Chanakya' in which he plays the titular role.

Ajay Devgn's forthcoming film is Chanakya in which the actor plays the titular role. The film will be directed by Neeraj Pandey and as per reports, he has been working on the script of the film from the past two years. Ajay also has been very excited about the film and it is going be made into two instalments. The prep for Chanakya was all set to start soon but has been kept on hold due to the ongoing lockdown.

Talking about the same, Neeraj told Mumbai Mirror, "Now, all of us are operating from home and trying to do the best we can." As per reports in the tabloid, Ajay is set to go bald for the role despite having several other films in his kitty. He is known to be a perfectionist who gets into the skin of his character. Neeraj shared, "It’s simple. Ours is a period film and Ajay will have to look the part."

Neeraj also revealed that he had planned to take the film on floors in October this year. He added, "Let’s see how soon we can go on the floors. As of today, everything is very uncertain. We all just want to come out of this crisis."

Apart from Chanakya, Ajay also has Maidaan in which he plays the football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The actor-filmmaker also has Bhuj: The Pride of India and both the films are eyeing for release this year. Moreover, Ajay will also be seen in the Hindi remake of Tamil film, Kaithi
