In a recent ranking by the Henley Passport Index, India has secured the 80th spot globally, allowing holders of Indian passports to travel to 62 countries without the need for a visa. Although India's ranking hasn't seen an increase from the previous year, the number of destinations has jumped from 57 to an impressive 62.

The Henley Passport Index, recognized as the leading interactive online tool for passport rankings worldwide, derives its data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This index serves as a reliable indicator of the global mobility landscape, reflecting the diplomatic reach and accessibility of passports across different nations.

Here is the list of countries that Indian passport holders can now visit without the hassle of obtaining a visa:

The Henley Passport Index also highlights the global leaders in passport strength, with France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain jointly holding the top spot. Citizens of these nations can travel to an impressive 194 countries without the need for a visa.

On the other end of the spectrum, Afghanistan holds the bottom position, granting access to a mere 28 countries without a visa. Syria and Iraq follow closely with 29 and 31 visa-free destinations, respectively. Pakistan rounds off the quartet with access to only 34 countries.
