Watch: Brand new 'Game of Thrones' final season tease is here

Amid the frenzy of Golden Globes 2019, HBO decided to drop the first look of the final season of Game of Thrones. (If you think this sounds overwhelming, you are not wrong.)

The first look was part of HBO's 2019 line-up trailer. A tiny shot shows the first meeting between Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner, currently the darling of Indian media all thanks to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wedding). This meet is historical because, in the course of the fantasy show, spanning across 8 seasons, these two characters have never met!

We did get a glimpse of this encounter earlier in August 2018 when a 1.40-minutes-long video rode on the coattails of the finale of Amy Adams' Sharp Objects.

With the new footage out now, I can piece it together to declare the person Sansa was looking at in the first tease was none other than the Mother of Dragons.

When Jon Snow introduces Sansa to Daenerys, the ward of Winterfell says, "Winterfell is yours, your grace." 
Goosebumps!

The encounter is witnessed by Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) and Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen)
