'Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to host Bigg Boss': Salman Khan at BB 12 launch

Controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss is all set for its season 12. The host Salman Khan on Tuesday launched Bigg Boss 12 at an event held in Goa. The actor made a grand ebtry in a speed boat, which was followed by his dance performance on stage. 

Salman was seen at his candid best while interacting with the mediapersons present at the launch. In fact, during the interactions, Salman made an interesting revelation. The actor shared that it was Shah Rukh Khan, who was the first choice for hosting Bigg Boss and not him. But since Shah Rukh couldn't take it up, the offer came to him. 

"Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to host Bigg Boss but he couldn't make it due to his shoots and shoulder injury. I also got to know about this recently. I want to thank SRK and Colors for giving me Bigg Boss," said Salman. The actor also jokingly added that his relationship with Bigg Boss has been the longest relationship that he has been in till now. 

Salman further introduced Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa as the first contestant jodi of BB 12. The couple recently participanted in stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. While Bharti said that she doesn't want to pick up fights inside the glass walled house, it'll be intersting to witness her journey in Bigg Boss season 12. Watch this space for more...
