Popular comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma is all set to make his comeback on Indian Television. After his last stint - Family Time with Kapil Sharma went off air on April 1 this year, the comedian has been missing in action for most part of the year. Now, reports of him making a comeback with a new show which is supposed to be on the lines of his previous hit shows - Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, are doing the rounds. Speculations are rife that Shah Rukh Khan, along with his Zero co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif may grace the first episode of Kapi's comeback show.
Several reports have also suggested that Kapil's new show will go on air from December 23rd and Zero is set to hit the theatres on December 21st. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source as saying, "A new set is being built at Mumbai’s Film city studios for the shoot. The set will have houses and a marketplace where the various characters will interact."
In case you're still wondering whether Sunil Grover will be a part of Kapil's new show, you're will be disappointed as that's not happening. In fact, Ali Asgar too will be missing from Kapil's team. However, Kapil's comeback show may feature familiar faces like Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti. Sunil and Ali will be seen in a separate comedy show which will be hosted by Kunal Kemmu.
Kapil's new show is said to be produced by Salman Khan and for quite a while, speculations were rife that he may be the first celebrity guest. However, given that Shah Rukh's ambitious flick Zero's release will be around the time of the reported premiere day of Kapil's comeback show, the makers might just rope him in along with his leading ladies.
