The much-anticipated Amazon Prime Video's, 'Mirzapur 2' trailer is out and it is, as expected, high on emotions.

In what looks like a season that will be filled with a generous amount of profanity, a lot of blood-shed, violence and characters conspiring against each other, much more than in season 1, 'Mirzapur 2' looks promising and is sure to entertain audiences who would like to see, who ends up sitting on the throne and be called the 'King of Mirzapur', after season 1 ended in a cliffhanger.

The trailer begins with Kaleen Bhaiya saying, 'Jo aya hai, woh jaega bhi, bas marzi humari hogi. Gaddi pe chahe hum rahe yah Munna, niyam same hoga (Whoever has come, will certainly leave, but only according to my wish. Whoever sits on the throne, whether it is me or Munnai, the rules will be the same).

Munna Bhaiya who is seen standing behind druglord Kaleen Bhaiya, adds another pointer to his father's remarks. He says, "Aur hum ek aur rule add kar rahe hai. Mirzapur ki gaddi pe baithne wala, kabhi bhi niyam badal sakta hai (I am adding another rule, that the one who sits on the throne can change the rules whenever he wishes to)

On the other hand, a blood-thirsty Guddu Bhaiya states that the next time he gets hold of his enemy, he won't be able to get out of his hands.

What is interesting to note in the trailer is that Golu (Shweta Tripathi), who was a character that stayed away from politics in season 1, is all set to 'rule' Mirzapur in season 2.

A new character Dadda Tyagi, whose name came up in season 1 but is revealed in the new trailer, will be interesting to watch.

The controversial relationship between Kaleen Bhaiya's wife Beena and father Bauji, that gets a mention in the trailer has piqued viewers interest too. "The lion has aged, but isn't old," says Beena in the trailer.

The Amazon Prime crime series set in Uttar Pradesh’s badlands stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Joining them in Mirzapur 2 are Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Amit Sial and Anjum Sharma.

Earlier, in a promo released by 'Mirzapur 2' makers on social media, Ali Fazal aka Guddu Bhaiya could be seen all set to take his revenge from Kaleen Bhaiya portrayed by Pankaj Triathi and Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyendu Sharma.

With the look on his face, one could easily guess that he will leave no stone unturned till he has avenged his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and wife Sweety Gupta's (Sriya Pilgaonkar) death in Mirzapur season 1.

A bloodthirsty and fierce Guddu Bhaiya is seen firing bullets with a vengeful expression on his face as Kaleen Bhaiya and Munna Bhaiya's images appear in the background, reminding him of his loss.

The makers shared the promo and captioned it, "Revenge fears none, the game has just begun #Mirzapur2 (sic)."

In yet another promo that was released by the makers last month, Kaleen Bhaiya sends a loud and clear message about his son Munna Tripathi wherein he mentions that all rules that apply to him, apply to his son as well. Subsequently, handing over the throne to his son. And soon after Munna has taken over the throne in 'Mirzapur 2', he adds one more rule - that the rules could change anytime.

On September 30, 'Mirzapur 2' makers teased a poster featuring Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Guddu Bhaiya with guns in their hand while they exchange a glance with the city in the backdrop. The new poster gave a feeling that 'Mirzapur' season 2 is going to be a lot more fierce and violent.

Amazon Prime Video shared the poster on Instagram and captioned it as, "They're back, but from this point, there's no looking back. #Mirzapur2 @yehhaimirzapur @excelmovies @alifazal9 @battatawada @faroutakhtar @ritesh_sid #PuneetKrishna @gurmmeetsingh @mihirbd @vineetkrishna01 (sic)."
