In a new promo released by Mirzapur 2 makers on Amazon Prime Video's social media handles, Ali Fazal aka Guddu Bhaiya is set to take his revenge from Kaleen Bhaiya portrayed by Pankaj Triathi and Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyendu Sharma, and will leave no stone unturned till he has avenged his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and wife Sweety Gupta's (Sriya Pilgaonkar) death in Mirzapur season 1.
A bloodthirsty and fierce Guddu Bhaiya is seen firing bullets with a vengeful expression on his face as Kaleen Bhaiya and Munna Bhaiya's images appear in the background, reminding him of his loss.
The makers shared the promo and captioned it, "Revenge fears none, the game has just begun #Mirzapur2 (sic)."
While discharging his weapon, Guddu Bhaiya can be seen uttering these words, "Humara uddesh ek hi hai, jaan se maarenge. Kyuki maarenge, tab hi jee paenge" (I have one object. To kill. Because I'll survive only when the others die).
Sharing the promo on social media, Ali Fazal wrote, “Kuch khone ke liye bacha hi nahi, toh darr kaisa? #Mirzapur2 (There’s nothing to lose, so what’s there to be afraid of).”
Earlier, the makers teased fans with a new poster and a promo.
In the poster, Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Guddu Bhaiya can be seen with guns in their hand while they exchange a glance with the city in the backdrop. The new poster gave a feeling that Mirzapur season 2 is going to be a lot more fierce and violent.
The promo that was shared before this one, set new rules for the game. Kaleen bhaiya's message in the prmo was clear. He and his son are owners of the Tripathi business, and the rules which applied to him, will also be legible to his son, Munna Tripathi aka Munna bhaiya. After Munna has overtaken the throne in 'Mirzapur 2', he added one more rule - that the rules could change anytime.
Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu Sharmaa, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Vijay Varma among others, Mirzapur it is a story of dirty politics, power, revenge and thriving to rule at any cost. Now, it will be interesting to see who gets to rule Mirzapur – Munna, Guddu or Kaleen Bhaiya.
