After Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda took a dig at Krushna Abhishek-Govinda's spat, on the sets of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'
After his episode (or skipping the episode on 'The Kapil Sharma Show') with Govinda, Krushna Abhishek has been facing digs on the show. While Chandan Prabhakar had mentioned about the incident soon after it happened, Kiku Sharda was the latest to take a dig at Krushna for his tiff with Govinda.
In the latest episode with Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, Kiku Sharda mentioned about 'Chi Chi' (Govinda) to Krushna, leaving people in splits over the smart dig. Varun and Sara were promoting their Christmas release 'Coolie No 1'. The film released on Amazon Prime Video on the eve of Christmas.
It was during their act as Jay and Veeru (played by Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan) from 'Sholay' that Krushna told Kiku, "Chee chee aisi baat nahi karte (Don’t talk like this)."
Finding an opportunity, Kiku Sharda instantly said, "Chi Chi to aapse baat nahi karte (Govinda doesn’t even talk to you)." For the uninformed, Krushna called Govinda 'Chi Chi' mama fondly.
Interestingly, Govinda featured in the original 'Coolie No 1' (1995 release, also directed by David Dhawan, starring Karisma Kapoor as the female lead). Most 'Chi Chi' fans are disappointed with the new version and have left bad reviews for the film, mostly in the form of memes.
Previously, actors Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Pankaj Tripathi had appeared on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and were interacting with Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek and Chandan Prabhakar. Krushna made big claims while he played the role of Amitabh Bachchan on the show.
Soon, he fell into his own trap as Chandan Prabhakar challenged him saying there is something that he can do, but Krushna cannot. After Krushna stated that there is no such thing, Chandan said, "Main Govinda ke har episode mein perform kar sakta hu. Aap kar sakte hain (I can perform in every Govinda episode. Can you)?"
Hearing the same, Krushna was left speechless and red-faced. While every other person out there broke into laughter, Chandan ended the punch with a 'Babaji ka thullu' (something invented by Kapil on his show).
