We have previously reported about Jon Snow (Kit Harington) shooting in Croatia in winter clothes, which is likely to be sets for Capital King's Landing. Now pictures have emerged Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) too shooting there. And guess what, they too are even meeting. The pictures show Jon and Cersei discussing a scene with showrunner of GoT.
Now, the last time the King of the North and Queen of the seven kingdoms met, there wasn't any love lost. While Jon was in mood of a armistice, for Cersei it was merely another step to keep her claims to the Iron Throne secured. We can only guess what they are planning, now that the threat from the White Walkers is much more real than ever. Are the mortals finally uniting against the indomitable force of Night King or a treacherous move is just a step away? We have more than an year to speculate.
The last season of the fantasy story will only be aired in 2019. After that, the showrunner duo, Weiss and David Benioff will begin their work on the newly announced Star Wars movies for Lucasfilm.
Disney has announced it was expanding its Star Wars universe, hiring the creators behind HBO's massive TV hit Game of Thrones to write a new series of films set in the galaxy far, far away.
The Walt Disney Co said in a statement that David Benioff and DB Weiss would write and produce the new series, which will be separate from both the episodic Skywalker saga and the recently announced trilogy being developed by director Rian Johnson.
No release dates or plot details were given.
