'Bigg Boss 12' September 24, 2018 written update: Dipika, Karanvir, Srishty, Nehha are tortured in Samudri Lutere task

Day 9 begins with the houemates waking up to the tunes of the song Saat Samundar Paar. Deepak and others try to gues what the luxury budget task will be about, going by the set up in the garden area.

In the living area, Deepak can be seen telling Romil and Sourabh about his college crush. They also discuss how they want to become the captain when Somi passes by. Romil says rather than having Somi as the Captain, he would prefer having Deepak as the captain. Deepak is found sleeping and the alarm goes. Deepak says in the camera that he needs to speak to the doctor since he isn’t well and wants to see the doctor. Kriti also requests the same looking in the camera. Sourabh says that he’s not that unwell that he can’t do some household chores with his hands.

Deepak gets up and says that he even cleaned the bathroom despite being unwell. An argument ensues and Deepak says that he is genuinely unwell and that Sourabh should not stretch and make it appear as if he’s unwilling to work.

In the afternoon, Srihty Rode reads out the instructions for the luxury budget task. Sreesanth won’t be participating in the task since he’s unwell. The name of the task is Samudri Lutere. The task is singles vs jodis. The jodis will be the pirates of the sea while the singles will be playing prisoners who have to guard the four golden rings. Kriti and Roshmi will be the sanchalaks who will have the final say in case of confusions during the task.

Sreesanth says that he will slap them if they use chillies in the task. Dipika gives the pictures of her husband to Sreesanth to guard and says that is the only way the jodis can break her. In the kitchen, Shivashish, Deepak and others can be seen looking for red chillies powder, garbage and other things to torture the singles. Saba , Somi and Kriti can be seen discussing if cutting the hair of the singles should be an option.

Karanvir Bohra, Dipika and others try to calm Sree down saying that he needs to be composed and cool during the task since they’ll try to target him finding him the most emotional.

The task begins and the first contestant to hold the ring and sit on the throne is Nehha Pendse. The jodis begin throwing all sorts of garbage, eggs and other things on Nehha’s face and hair. The singles ask Nehha not to remove her mic. The jodis pour chilled water on her as she holds her mic. Sree says he won’t bear all this torture and back out, Srishty says he cannot back out like last time.

Dipika keeps on cheering up Nehha and being her support. Saba tries to snatch the ring from her and the singles says that snatching the ring isn’t allowed. Saba throws orange peels and powder on her face but Nehha doesn’t budge. Saba and Somi cross all limits to torture Nehha. Sree and KV step up and say that Saba and Somi are getting physical which isn’t allowed but the Khan sisters keep on arguing and don’t listen to anyone.

At 3:45, Sree breaks down after watching Nehha going through all the torture. Srishty comes to him and says that he cannot show his weakness. Sree says that the jodis are enjoying torturing them. Dipika keeps on cheering Nehha. At the end of the task, Nehha is able to retain the ring and the Singles win the first round.

KV convinces Sree that he cannot be weaker than the girls. The next one to go is Srishty. The jodis begin torturing Srishty by throwing lemon juice, powder, cold water, soapy water, curry powder and masaale. All the ingredients get into her eyes and she steps up asking for water. The pirates take the ring and don’t give it back. Srishty comes inside crying bitterly. She says she’s filled with soapy water and she feels pukish. She says her eyes are burning and she felt as if they’re slapping her on the face. Nehha takes her in the washroom where Srishty says she can’t see properly.

The next one to go is Dipika. The pirates first splash her with water one after the other. Dipika braves it all. The cold soapy water is splashed hard on her face and body from all sides one after the other but Dipika manages to sail through all the torture. KV , Nehha and others keep on cheering for Dipika. Dipika happens to move a little up from the seat and Roshmi says since she has moves, she has to give up the ring. Bigg Boss says that he won’t intervene since the decision of the sanchalaks will be final. Ultimately Dipika is asked by Roshmi and Kriti to give up her ring. Dipika says its partiality on their part but she will abide by the decision of the sanchalaks.

The next one to go is KV who is made to go through extreme torture. They started throwing powder and water on his nose in order to choke him so that he doesn’t get to breathe. Deepak says they should not get inhuman for the sake of the task, Roshmi says if they don’t cross limits then the singles won’t give up. A verbal argument ensues between Sourabh and Deepak. Sourabh says that he knows KV is in pain but he’s doing it for the task. The jodis try every possible inhuman measure to break KV but KV doesn’t give up. In the end, KV manages to retain the ring and the jodis only manage to get two rings from the singles.

Sreesanth loses his cool as he cannot bear to see the extreme torture that KV is made to go through. He gets violent but Dipika takes him inside the house and tells him to calm down. She tells him that it’s alright and all these things will happen during the task, much like the previous seasons and that they have to remain strong.

The five singles are having a discussion. Dipika says that she’s lost respect for Kriti and Roshmi as they were smiling when everyone was being tortured. Dipika breaks down recalling how the jodis tortured KV, Nehha and Srishty. They decide that they won’t have any mercy for them when it’s their turn to torture the jodis.

Romil, Saba and Somi are talking and say that they will show the singles that they will endure all the torture and prove that they can do the task without creating drama.

The singles say that they won’t give the chance to Romil and Nirmal to perform the task since they’re already nominated and are looking for an opportunity to prove themselves. Srishty suggests that Deepak was fighting for them, so on moral grounds they should not pick Deepak and Urvashi to torture.

At 8:30, Deepak is talking with Somi. Somi says that he portrayed himself as the right person and made the entire team appear in a bad light. Deepak tries to put his point across that he felt what they were doing to KV was wrong,

Roshmi and Somi are talking in the garden area about Urvashi and how she didn’t help them at all in the task. Somi says she asked Urvashi about Nehha’s weakness since she spends a lot of time with her, but Urvashi said she’s not aware of any of Nehha’s weaknesses. Somi adds that she knows it’s her make-up but she didn’t take that since she feels somebody’s personal stuff bought from their hard earned money should not be wasted.

Shivashish and Jasleen try to hide all the things which the singles may use against them in the task, in the between their clothes kept in the cupboards. They hide shampoo, conditioner and powder bottles and throw them above the cupboards. Kriti and Roshmi too join and help them in hiding the things.

Late night around 1 am, Saba, Somi, Roshmi, Jasleen are discussing how among the jodis one is strong one is weak. Jasleen says that the celebs won’t target Anup Jalota since he’s a big name and is a Padmashree awardee so they will target her. Roshmi adds that the singles also have to take care of their image so they won’t torture Anup Ji. Jasleen says she thought of using make-up etc in the task but then didn’t do it eventually, thinking it’ll get ugly but she’s not sure if the Singles will also think likewise. Saba and Somi add that if they go to that extent then they will stretch the enmity beyond the task and torture them even after the task is over. Other add that it’ll be an open war in that case.

The episode ends with glimpses of what to expect from Day10’s episode. The sneak peek shows us that the Singles leave no stones unturned to avenge the torture by jodis. Dipika and Srishty seem to be taking charge and trying to break the jodis to get the rings back.
