Andy Murray feels that it is the marriage bliss that has been giving his career a boost.

The 27-year-old tennis ace, who claimed his second claycourt title at the Madrid Open with a 6-3, 6-2, beating 9 times French Open champ Rafael Nadal, wrote "marriage works" on the on-court camera after the win, News24.com reported.

The Scottish star, who's even been wearing his wedding ring on the laces of his shoes during matches, said that people always talk about the honeymoon period, and he too felt that a good personal life helped performance on the court.

The two-time Grand Slam champion, who won his first claycourt title in Munich recently, hasn't lost a match ever since he tied knot with longtime girlfriend Kim Sears a month ago.
