Accident on Mumbai's Malad-Kandivali Link Road kills 1, injures 3

A speeding car rammed into two auto-rickshaws and a motorbike at Link Road between Malad and Kandivali, leaving one dead and three injured on Friday morning.

According to the police the incident occurred at around 10.30 am when a speeding Honda Civic car driven by one Sakshi Parekh went on to hit two rickshaws and a bike at Mahavir Nagar. 

Incidentally, the biker who died in the accident and one of the three injured persons were having identical names, Dilip Soni. The other injured persons have been identified as Lavkush Yadav and Izhar Ahmed.

So huge was the impact of the accident that the biker was flung off from the bike, police said.
