Rajasthan: BJP to set up media centres in 200 constituencies

Media centres will be set up at all the seven division headquarters across the state and the media in-charge will be appointed in all the 200 assembly constituencies.

BJP will strengthen its media management to win upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections and to promote the Rajasthan Gaurav yatra of Chief minister Vasundhara Raje. Media centres will be set up at all the seven division headquarters across the state and the media in-charge will be appointed in all the 200 assembly constituencies. A meeting of the party’s district media in-charges was held on Monday at the BJP state headquarters. Instructions were issued to set up a media centres in seven divisional headquarters.

The party’s media centres will be set up at all the seven divisional headquarters of the state. There is currently a media in-charge in each organisational district of the party. Now, expanding the team, the media in-charge will be appointed in each assembly area. BJP’s media in-charge will act as a press reporter. In the meeting held at the state headquarters, media in-charges were given training to issue press notes, contact the media and propagate the plans and policy of the party and government.

Addressing the meeting, the state in-charge and national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna said that there is a big role of media in the present scenario. Therefore, BJP will have to pay special attention to media management.

Khanna said that the media in-charge should have full focus on every subject and matter. Media in-charge should have a good connection with media houses and reporter in their area. Khanna advised the media in-charges not to issue statements on every issue. Before issuing the statement, acquire full information about the subject. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi briefed election management to the media in-charges. Chaturvedi said that for the promotion the Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, media in-charges will issue regular press notes. 

They can give information to the media on Gaurav Yatra through the press conference. On behalf of the state, media cell, the in-charge of BJP’s organizational 41 districts had called the meeting. Only 15 in-charges attended the meeting. Media state co-in-charge Neeraj Jain informed about the work and purpose of the media cell.
