A MAN mowed down an elderly woman with his car in Delhi and attempted to flee the scene. The incident occurred near Chilla Village on Friday morning.
In the video, shared by ANI, it could be seen that an individual named Bhanu, drove the car that hit the elderly woman, and then tried to flee. However, people passing by rushed to help the woman. Some people present at the spot also attempted to top the car.

According to media reports, the victim suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Hospital authorities informed that her condition is stable.
"The accused police personnel was not involved in the incident at Chilla village, car was being driven by an individual named Bhanu. The Delhi Police personnel was involved in another case in Gazipur y'day in which a woman was run over by a car."
A complaint has been registered against him under section 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code.
The man has been arrested.
