Fake currency with a face value of Rs4,3,6500 was seized by the police from three residents of Murshidabad district in Kolkata today.
Acting on tip off, the Special Task Force (STF) raided a market under the flyover at Sealdah and arrested the three identified as Nazu Sk alias Munna, Hasan Sk and Rahim Baksh, STF sources said.
A search of their persons revealed the fake currency in denominations of Rs1000 and 500, STF sources said.
The three aged between 25 to 28 years were produced in court.
