Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan on Saturday spoke about the threat he has been receiving after his comment on drugs usage in Bollywood. Ravi Kishen has confirmed that there are a few celebrities in the Hindi film industry that consume drugs.

The comment, which he made in a parliament, at a time when the NCB is investigating Bollywood drug nexus, had not gone down well with a few celebrities, and his political opposition. It is now reported that the actor-turned-politician has been receiving threat calls after his comment.

When asked about the threat calls, Kishen said he would talk about it at the right time. He however went on to mention, "I didn't think about my life. Even if I have to take 2-5 bullets for the country's future, I won't mind it."

"A conspiracy is being hatched to destroy the country's youth and our neighbouring countries are adding to it. The smuggling of drugs from Pakistan and China is being carried out every year. It is being brought via Punjab and Nepal," the Gorakhpur MP had said in the Lok Sabha.

He also added, "Drug addiction is in the film industry too. Several people have been apprehended. The NCB has been doing very good work. I urge the central government to take strict action against the culprits soon. Give them a befitting punishment and bring an end to this conspiracy by neighbouring countries."
