It was perhaps for the first time that Governor arrived late at the Vidhan Bhavan to address both the Houses of state legislature and there was a goof up while playing the National anthem in the beginning of the budget session.

Instead of arriving at 11, Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao arrived at 11.05 at Vidhan Bhavan which was unprecedented. He came along with presiding officers of both the Houses Haribhau Bagade and Ramraje Naik-Nimbalkar and he was also accompanied by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Soon after coming on the dais, the National anthem was not played which is why Governor started chanting it and so were the members in the hall. When everybody started Jan Gan Man... suddenly the tape recorded National anthem began but everyone in the hall adjusted to the National anthem recorded version.

Presiding officer of the Upper House Ramraje Naik-Nimbalkar told the legislative council that it was a major goof up and he has sought the information in this regard as to how it happened. He said that if Governor is delayed due to traffic issues, police department would be asked about the same since it is their duty to provide vacant roads for the convoy and Governor when he arrives to the House. He said that he would gather the information and present it to the Upper House on Tuesday.
