JEE Main 2019: NTA releases admit card at jeemain.nic.in, here is how you can download it

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday released the admit card for joint entrance examination (JEE) Main 2019 which will be held between January 6 and January 20, 2019. Candidates can download the JEE Main 2019 admit card from official website jeemain.nic.in.

This is the first time that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA. This Examination was earlier being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).     

“The candidate has to download his/her Admit Card from the NTA’s website w.e.f. 17.12.2018 onwards and appear for the examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift as indicated in their Admit Card,” an official notification of NTA said. 

Here is how you can download JEE Main 2019 admit card:

Step-1: Visit the official website of JEE jeemain.nic.in

Step-2: Find a link of "Download Admit Card" flashing on the homepage

Step-3: You will see two options: 1- Download Admit Card through Application Number and Password; and 2- Download Admit Card through Application Number and Date of Birth.

Step-4: Fill in the required details and click on Submit

Step-5: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen

Step-6: Download and take a print out

About JEE Main:

JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. 

JEE Main 2019 exam will be held conducted January 6 and January 20, 2019. The exams will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in two shifts - 9:30 am to 12:30 am and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

The second JEE Main 2019 exam will be conducted from April 6 to 20, 2019 for which a separate notice will be issued on the official website of NTA.
