As political parties are gearing up for 2019 Lok Sabha polls, businessmen are coming up with new innovative election paraphernalia. From complete social media solutions and dummy voting machine to traditional t-shirts and party flags, the traders are expecting huge business this election in view of the neck-to-neck fight between country's two biggest political parties — the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC).

Indira V and Anuradha of Mega Creations, which is based in Hyderabad, were in Delhi at the two-day Electmart Expo organised at Constitutional Club, and they have high expectations from this polls. Along with flags, t-shirt, mobile cover, cap, scarf and badges, they have come up with a new product — magnetic mobile screen cleaner.

"Business will be good for sure. We are getting many queries and we are hopeful it will be materialised," Anuradha told DNA.

Similarly, Gyan Shah, from The Flag Corporation based in Mumbai, was very excited to see how much business he will manage to get. He is only into making high-end flags for political parties which last for long, unlike other flags that is basically for use and throw. "We make customised flags and logos and also UV resistance flags. Our flags are made of knitted polyester and it will not tear easily," Shah said.

Apart from the tradition election paraphernalia, Rohit Walia of Search Modifiers has come up with complete online solution for political. From image building to target online audience constituency-wise, he promises to cater to the virtual political world. "Through online tools, we can build images of any political leader. We are into reputation management wherein we use all social media tools to build a positive image of the leader," said Walia adding that his company is a new start up and he based in Delhi. He finds that online business is going to be good this election season.

Gaurav Bansal of Bansal Graphics says he has got lot of offers from BJP and he is hoping to do good business. He has all the traditional election paraphernalia including dummy voting machine wherein political parties can engage their booth managers to carry demonstration on how to vote in front of the voters. He is also expecting huge business.

Like Bansal, traders are this election, campaign would be high pitched and they will rake in lot of moolah.
