Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said that talks are still on between Samajwadi Party (SP) and the other members of the Janata Parivar alliance on getting the former back into its fold before polls in the state take place.

"SP walking out is not final. We are talking to them. Sharad Yadav (JD(U) leader) has met Mulayam Singh (SP chief). Lalu Yadav has also met him. I had last met him before this decision of theirs. I did not feel anything of this sort was going to come up,"said Kumar.

He also mentioned that the Samajwadi Party had themselves shown support in the Swabhiman Rally by sending Shivpal Singh Yadav to address the gathering.
