WATCH: You won't be able to recognize Indian Idol 10 judge Neha Kakkar in this VIRAL video from season 2

Sony's popular singing reality show Indian Idol will soon be back with its 10th season. The previous season had aired in late 2016. Joining Anu Malik on the jury panel this time, would be Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar, who was one of the contestants on the show in 2006.

She is thrilled to return to Indian Idol, the stage which shot her to fame. “I’m thrilled and excited to be associated with one of the best platforms on television in India for singing talent. My singing career began with me being a contestant on this show and now I’m going to judge it,” Neha said in a statement to IANS. 

“Life has truly come full circle. I instantly took the offer to judge Indian Idol because I know the journey from being judged to judging on the same stage is going to be a memorable experience for me,” she added.

A video of her is now going viral where she is seen talking about her Indian Idol journey - from being a contestant to now judging the show.

Interestingly, Vishal Dadlani was the judge in that season as well. Today, Neha will be sitting right beside him on the jury panel. She might not have had won the competition, but she has made a name for herself in the industry today. Neha is best known for hit songs like "Manali Trance", "Dilbar", "Kala Chashma", "London Thumakda" and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania".
