Watch the new song from Ranbir Kapoor's 'Besharam': 'Dil Ka Jo Haal Hai' takes you back to the 90s

The latest song from Ranbir Kapoor starrer-Besharam is out and the new track called Dil Ka Jo Haal inspires a sense of deja vu in more ways than one.

For starters, the song instantly reminds us of Jo Haal Dil Ka, a song from Aamir Khan and Sonali Bendre starrer Sarfarosh. Interestingly, both the songs have been composed by Lalit Pandit of Jatin-Lalit duo.

Not only this, the song, where actress Pallavi  Sharda is seen driving along the countryside, also reminds us of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (Remember the scene where the two drive on the roads of Zurich).

Right from the music to the lyrics, the song banks heavily on the 90s and the composer has succeeded in retaining the simple and pleasant feel of the era, besides bringing in an element of freshness in the song.

Another thing we love about the song is that it brings out singer Abhijit Bhattacharya from hiding. He has been duly complemented by the melodious Shreya Ghoshal.

Ranbir is at his besharam best and is seen flirting with Pallavi in the song. For a newcomer, Pallavi is quite comfortable in front of the camera and plays her part with ease.

Directed by Abhinav Kashyap, Besharam also stars Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. The film is set for release on October 2.
