Look who's playing Nawazuddin Siddiqui's friend in Manto

Nandita Das has roped in actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, known for his roles in Mardaani and Force 2, for her upcoming film Manto. The actor will play the role of late actor Sunder Shyam Chadda, who was Sadat Hasan Manto's friend. 

The biopic on Manto has Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the protagonist and is Nandita's second directorial venture. Nandita revealed that Tahir resembles the late actor who fell off a horse and died at the age of 36. 

She thinks he has a charming personality and is a good actor, which is what she was looking for. The shooting of the film will start once Nawaz is done shooting for Munna Michael.
