Karva Chauth: Here's what Vidya Balan has to say about the festival

Karva Chauth is possibly one festival that has been glorified in most of Yashraj and Dharma films from time to time. Whether it's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham or even a Hum Aapke Hain Koun, actors have been captured celebrating the festival on celluloid. But off screen, do they believe in fasting for their man? We asked Vidya Balan the same and she immediately responded. 

"I don't believe in Karva Chauth at all. I won't fast for anyone," Vidya told reporters when she was quizzed about how she plans to celebrate the occasion. Vidya, who's married to UTV head honcho Sidharth Roy Kapur unabashedly announced that she's not interested in Karva Chauth at all.

Even Abhishek Bachchan echoed the same sentiments when he was asked about the special Karva Chauth plans in the Bachchan household. Guess Bollywood is steering clear from Karva Chauth celebrations this year!
