Shah Rukh Khan's latest release Fan has garnered tremendous praise from critics and fans alike. However, the film has failed to show jabra action on the box office.
On Saturday, Fan became the highest weekend opener at the box office in 2016, beating Akshay Kumar's Airlift which had maintained its position for 4 long months. However, on Sunday, Fan failed to show major growth at the box office, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films, made a grand opening at the box office on Friday with Rs 19.20 crore net collection. But on Saturday and Sunday, the collections dipped.

Fan sees Shahrukh make a triumphant return to form essaying a double role and so far the critics have also given a thumbs up to the film in both India and Pakistan.
