NCERT introduces new Diploma course in Guidance and Counselling - Apply here, Find out last date

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced the launch of a news Diploma course for Guidance and Counselling. This course is introduced for individuals who are looking to train as professional counsellors for schools and other educational institutions. 

The course is for one year and interested candidates can apply for it online on the official website - ncert.nic.in by November 5.

The course will commence from January 2022 and will continue up to December 2022. The course will be provided in both distance and physical modes. 

Important Dates for the course: 

Last date to apply - November 5, 2021
Course duration - January to December 20, 22

Candidates will have to go through a test, those who clear the test will be moved to the interview round. Candidates will be selected on merit. 

Here's how you can apply: 

- Visit the official website: ncert.nic.in.  

- Click on 'Diploma course in Guidance and Counselling' and then on the 'Online Application form.' 

- Enter your credentials and fill the application form 

- Upload the documents as asked and click on submit.  

- For future reference, download a copy of the same.

As per the notification released by the NCERT, the Guided Self-learning course will be consist of 6 months -Distance, 3 months - full-time contact and 3 months -  Internship.
