Central Teacher Eligibility Test results to be announced on August 18 on ctet.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the result for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on August 18. The exam was conducted on July 7 and the official notification from the CBSE said that the result will be announced within six weeks of conducting the exam.

The candidates need to secure 60% of the total marks to qualify for the exam. For reserved category candidates, he/she needs to secure 55% of marks. There are two papers- paper 1 and paper 2 and both the exams are conducted for two and a half hours. 

The result will be announced on the official website-ctet.nic.in. Candidates who have cleared the exam can download the certificates from the website.

More than 20 lakh candidates have applied for the test. Out of which at least 37,000 are specially-abled candidates and 35 are third gender candidates. The exam was conducted in 20 different languages across India.
