The arrested are close friends and have together conducted several robberies in the area.
Three persons have been arrested for robbing a delivery boy of an e-commerce site, Amazon, in the Outer Delhi area. The accused persons would use a robbed mobile phone and a motorcycle to carry out the robbery and evade arrest. Fourteen cases of such robberies were solved with their arrest.
According to the police, the incident was reported on May 28. Saurav, 28, works as a delivery agent with Amazon and had a car in which the delivered goods were carried. Saurav then told the police that around evening he was going along with his co-driver Sikander to deliver shoes when five armed assailants robbed them at gun-point.
"A case was registered and investigations revealed that the robbers would strike again. A trap was laid and the robbers arrived on two motorcycles. A country made pistol was recovered from the accused identified as Mohit alias Tony, 19," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer, MN Tiwari.
"The other accused were identified as Hemant alias Laddu, 18, and Sunil alias Sunny, 19," he said. The robbed items include branded shoes, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, and motorcycles.

They told the police that they registered online, using stolen or snatched mobile phones.
When, the courier boy from the Amazon arrived to deliver the goods and called them to ask the address, they robbed him at gun-point.
The fourth accused in the case is currently absconding. Officials said that in order to evade arrest, he had installed a CCTV camera at his residence, the footage of which he would view on his mobile phone. Each time the police raided his house they would not find him or any evidence linking him to the crime.
