Indian cricket team skipperVirat Kohli and wife and actor Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl on Monday (January 11) afternoon. Virat shared the good news on his social media handles while informing that both the mother and the child were in good health.

Kohli and Anushka announced their pregnancy on August 27 and said that they were going to be three in the month of January. The skipper was congratulated by his teammates and many other cricketers after becoming a father on social media.

Indian cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar wished the couple giving his best wishes for the arrival of little angel in their lives. Tendulkar wrote, "Congratulations @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma on the arrival of the little angel in your lives!

"May her life be blessed with good health & love," he added.
