Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam, who has been one of the few cricketers breaking records is all set to add another feather to his cap.

The superstar batsman has gotten engaged to his paternal cousin. The marriage has been agreed upon between the two families and the couple will get married next year. 

While getting married is surely a happy moment for many, but Babar's international fans would be a little surprised seeing the cricketer getting ready to enter the wedlock within his extended family.

However, he isn't the first to do so. Over the years, several Pakistani cricketers have tied the nuptial knot with their cousins. Not just them, but the list also includes the former swashbuckling opener of the Indian cricket team, Virender Sehwag.

Virender Sehwag: The most famous Indian cricketer, Sehwag, had reportedly married his distant relative Aarti Ahlawat on April 22, 2004. In fact, Aarti had confirmed this in an interview and said that theirs was a love marriage within their own family. It all began when one of Sehwag's cousin had got married to Aarti's aunt. The two dated for 5 years before tying the nuptial knot. Sehwag was only 21 years old when he had proposed to Aarti.
