The Australian cricket team has arrived in India for their final dress rehearsal before the 2023 World Cup. The Men in Yellow are scheduled to compete against the host country, India, in a three-match ODI series, commencing on September 22 in Mohali.

David Warner, in a recent Instagram post, conveyed his appreciation for returning to India.

"Always great to be welcomed back to india. We are always well looked after and well protected. Thanks so much. @gmraerocity always makes our transits so easy," Warner wrote.

Wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey shared a photo of Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, and Mitchell Marsh relaxing together in their hotel room.

Warner had a mixed performance in the previous five-game ODI series against South Africa. The 36-year-old achieved notable scores of 106 and 78 against the Proteas but failed to surpass 20 in the remaining three innings. As he is likely to open with Mitchell Marsh, Warner will be eager to find his rhythm before the main event.

Australia's middle-order, particularly Marcus Stoinis and Carey, will face scrutiny after their disappointments in South Africa. However, with the return of Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins, the touring team should feel much more confident.

The first ODI will take place in Mohali on September 22, followed by matches in Indore and Rajkot on the 24th and 27th, respectively.

Australia will commence their World Cup campaign on October 8th, facing India in Chennai.
