The first edition of Afghanistan Premier League (APL) 2018 will start on Friday, October 5. The T20 tournament organised by the Afghanistan Cricket Board envisions to become the top domestic Twenty20 cricket league competition for Afghanistan. The first edition will be played in the United Arab Emirates.
The Afghanistan Premier League (APL T20) will feature twenty-three matches to be played between 5 and 21 October 2018 in Sharjah.
Many well-known players like Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi, Colin Munro, Brendon McCullum, Ryan ten Doeschate, Thisara Perera, Andre Russell and others will be in action for their respective franchises.
