After Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane and wife Radhika get first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Team India and Delhi Capitals batsman Ajinkya Rahane took to social media to inform and urged everyone who is eligible to get themselves vaccinated.

Delhi Capitals are proving to be frontrunners both on and off the field. after the opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, another Capitals and Team India batsman, Ajinkya Rahane has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, a few days after the suspension of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Both Rahane and his wife Radhika Dhopavkar got themselves vaccinated in Mumbai, the place to which both belong to. Sharing the picture of him and his wife, Rahane urged everyone who is eligible to get themselves vaccinated.

Taking to Instagram, Rahane shared the pictures and captioned the post, "Both me and @radhika_dhopavkar got our first dose of the vaccine today. We’re getting vaccinated not only for ourselves but also for those around us. I urge everyone to get vaccinated if you’re eligible."

This comes a couple of after Shikhar Dhawan got himself vaccinated with the first dose for prevention from the COVID-19 virus. Dhawan informed everyone with a picture of him getting the shot and thanked all the frontline workers of the country for their sacrifice and dedication amid the destruction brought by the COVID-19 virus and also also urged everyone to get vaccinate and not hesitate in doing the same as that will only help the country defeat the virus.
