Narayana Murthy’s Infosys has announced a major deal with leading semiconductor design and embedded services provider InSemi. Infosys has revealed that it is paying Rs 2800000000 or 280 crore to acquire 100 percent stake InSemi. In a regulatory filing, Infosys said the acquisition of Rs 153.6 crore revenue InSemi is expected to close during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. “Consideration including earn-outs, and management incentives, and retention bonus totaling up to INR 280 crores subject to customary closing adjustments,” Infosys said.

"This strategic investment further strengthens Infosys’ engineering R&D capabilities and demonstrates its continued commitment to co-create with global clients to help them navigate their digital transformation journey," Infosys further added.

Established in 2013, InSemi specializes in comprehensive semiconductor design services, encompassing electronic and platform design, automation, as well as embedded and software technologies. The company caters to top international firms in various sectors including semiconductor, consumer electronics, automotive, and high-technology industries.
