After making the audience groove to the remix version of the '90s hit song 'Aankh Marey', the makers of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming action-thriller 'Simmba' released another revamped number on Friday.

Adapted from late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's popular number, the revised version of 'Tere Bin' has been crooned by Asees Kaur and Tanishk Bagchi while Khan's voice too has been retained.

From Sara's vibrant clothes, the Swiss Alps shining in the background to the soulful melody - 'Tere Bin' has everything going on in its favour except the lead couple's chemistry. The song has all the ingredients of a hit Bollywood romantic number but there's still something that feels amiss.

Watch Tere Bin, here:

While the lush green landscapes, snow capped mountains make the song a visual treat, Ranveer and Sara's apparent age-difference (Ranveer is 33 while Sara is 23) serves as more than just a distraction. The actors are great individually but fail to spin the kind of magic that a song of this scale would require. Sara looks stunning but fails to evoke any emotion. The setting is so beautiful that it makes you yearn for a Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol kinda chemistry.

Ranveer's dressing too becomes some sort of a hindrance. The excessive gel in his hair and crisp shirt-pants, make him look too 'on duty' to make love. However, the song does have a potential to become a hit, considering all the positive comments and reviews on the YouTube link.

'Simmba', a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster 'Temper', stars Ranveer as a hot-headed, corrupt cop, whose life changes after an incident. It is Sara's second film after 'Kedarnath'. The film also features Sonu Sood, in the role of the prime antagonist. Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar, 'Simmba' is scheduled to release on December 28, this year.
