Shocking! Priyanka Chopra reveals she has been asthmatic since she was 5

Global icon Priyanka Chopra, who is believed to lead a 'perfect' life, recently revealed a little something about her health condition that left her fans both concerned and proud. 

She tweeted an ad on Monday where she is seen talking about her life-long battle with asthma. She reveals in the clip that she has been asthmatic since she was 5 and how it didn't stop her from dreaming big and achieving the highs in her careeer.

"Those who know me well know that I'm an asthmatic. I mean, what's to hide? I knew that I had to control my asthma before it controlled me. As long as I've got my inhaler, asthma can't stop me from achieving my goals and living a 'Berok Zindagi'," Priyanka tweeted.

On the work front, Priyanka is shooting for Shonali Bose's 'The Sky Is Pink' which is also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. It's based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker at the age of 13 after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film will see Priyanka playing the role of Zaira's mother. It will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, London and the Andamans. Juhi Chaturvedi is writing the dialogues for the film while Pritam Chakraborty is composing the music. 

Priyanka recently got engaged to Nick Jonas and is currently enjoying some quality time with him in the US.
